Tagging Instructions
Important: If your items are not tagged correctly, they will not be accepted. Please see the Participant Information and the Selling Tips tab on our website for step-by-step instructions.
- Tag Requirements: Use 3×5 index cards, filled out correctly, and attached with 2” MINIMUM size safety pins. All clothing must be on hangers with the hook facing left like a “?”.

Items Accepted
Clothing:
- Sizes: Newborn to Young Teen (up to size 14)
- Conditions: Must be clean, odorless, in very good condition, and in style. No stains, tears, or missing buttons.
- Tagging: Index cards must be pinned on the top left side of the garment (over the heart). Use a 2” minimum size safety pin and attach it horizontally through the 3×5 index card and garment twice. No small safety pins, staples, or other methods.
Types of Clothing:
- Swim suits (spring/summer sale only)
- Jackets (fall/winter sale only)
- Dress and play clothes
- Costumes
- Dancewear & costumes
- School uniforms
- Monogrammed outfits
- Maternity clothes (limited to 10 items)
- Shoes: Must be in excellent condition (no toe stains, mud, or excessive wear). ***Place in a zip lock bag and tape closed. Tape the 3×5 index card to the outside of the bag.***
Other Items:
- Booster seats
- Toys/Videos/Books/Outdoor play & sports equipment: Must have all parts securely attached and working batteries if needed. Place index cards in plain view and well secured. Toys with pieces must be in zip lock bags sealed with packing tape.
- Baby furniture and equipment: High chairs, swings, strollers, changing tables, beds, etc. Must be clean, assembled, and in good condition. No glass bottles or car seats.
- Large items: Little Tykes toys and furniture are in high demand. Mobiles should be in plastic bags to avoid lost pieces.
General Rules:
- A minimum of 10 quality children’s items in good condition is required.
- No items smelling of smoke or pets or with pet hair.
- No adult clothing or brands.
- Items with stains, tears, missing buttons, or broken zippers will not be accepted.
- Clothes sold in sets must be the same size.
- Remember, presenting your items well increases their chances of selling.
Items NOT Accepted:
- Out-of-date clothing/shoes
- Formals
- Well-worn clothing/shoes
- Adult sizes/brands
- Fast food toys
- Grab bags
- Stuffed animals/Mardi Gras throws
- Battery-operated toys without batteries
- Car seats
- Cups
Registration and Pickup
- New and Returning Participants: Please register for EACH SALE.
- Pickup Day: Bring a container to pick up unsold items. Reruns baskets cannot leave the building. Reruns is not responsible for any bins left at drop-off or pick-up.
Volunteer Assistance: Volunteers help with unloading to keep things moving quickly. Follow Reruns signs and allow volunteers to unload your car and get you in the check-in line. On pickup day, you must bring a bin for your items as there will be no extra help available.
